If you want to distribute an app that no one else wants to host make your own repo.
If you have an opinion that isn't welcome anywhere else make your own blog.
It is censorship, calling it curation doesn't make it not censorship.
You can be alright with censorship, it's fine to have values that you consider more important than speech/expression, but it doesn't mean that speech/expression isn't hindered.
The main problem with this argument tends to be the knock-on chilling effects, not everyone is as convinced censorship will only continue to be done with noble intentions.
