Orchestral soundtrack in movies is really underrated IMO
@swiley yeah, maybe for a general audience / general purpose soundtrack. But for a futuristic gaming flick? I would have preferred some heavy bass dubstep / drum'n'bass OST.

It is the book which is a lot about 80s music. It is - just as 80s computer games - a central topic of the story. Leaving that out or changing it would lead to a totally different story. I'm by no means a Spielberg fan but if you are gonna make a Moby Dick movie it is not the worst idea to have a whale in it.
