I like my Plattan 2 headphones but they are breaking down again D:
Any recommendations for on-ear bluetooth headphones that last longer than 2 years?

@ConnyDuck i have the Sony WH-1000MX3 which where my Daly driver for about 3 years, still in like new condition.

But I switched for the most pats to the AirPod Max because they are more suitable for > 5h wear time in one go

@mia_miau @ConnyDuck I have the same Sony cans, and they sound fantastic. Love 'em.

I've only had 'em for not quite two years, though, so I can't speak for the longevity.

@ConnyDuck if you need something cheap but decent I've had a good time with TaoTronics SoundSurge 85

my only complaints are, I hate that it says "connected" etc in speech instead of beeping, and it seems to have built in fade-in after audio being paused for a few seconds. must be some sort of power saving feature but sometimes pretty annoying

it sounds nice tho, and the ANC is decent enough for me. battery life has been okay too

@cadxdr @ConnyDuck My Jabra in-ear buds do that "connected!" thing too, and it's like... okay thanks magic voice?

@ConnyDuck +1 on the Sony headphones. Sublime noise cancelling and has worked consistently for years so far (model 3 has bad on ear controls though)
