@Nervengift that's so cool! I love the colours too
@linen I don't know if it's obvious but this is a single thread that changes its color every few centimeters. This gives this nice effect highlighting the inner structure of the fractal
@Nervengift ooh, I can see it now you mention it but I hadn't noticed. really neat! do you have plans for the finished embroidery?
@linen it was actually just a quick (well, one hour...) test on a scrap piece of cloth because I needed photos and videos for a workshop ^^"
@Nervengift this is fantastic. I had a not-so-mild obsession with the dragon curve as a teenager, so this warms my heart โค
@Nervengift this looks amazing
@Nervengift Holy cow this is cool! I just realized I know very little about embroidery machines. I assume this is programmed in some way?
@cincodenada this is programmed.
In this case the path was generated by a Java program that reads Lindenmayer system rules and generates embroidery files for the machine.
But for most of my embroidery stuff I use commercial software to convert images to stitches
@Nervengift Oh wow that's amazing!
@Nervengift oooooh
