I think we're caching way too much.


Current example #1: I sat on the train home from work, and opened the Wi-Fi menu of my computer (an Apple brand one). It took almost half a minute until the Wi-Fi networks from home disappeared.

Current example #2: I opened a browser and entered chaos.social. Since I had no internet connection, the browser displayed »the web page is not available«. When the train rode into a region where connectivity was restored, a *reload* wouldn't load the web page but continued to deliver the error message for a few minutes!

@Xjs same for Android, NetworkManager only takes a few seconds

@jeena Yah, I know I can manually empty the cache, but that wasn't the point :)
