I would like to have a project, something to do and put some time, energy and love in, on this year’s Chaos Communication Congress. Maybe some larger project where I can contribute, or just some small thing that I can work on. For ten years I’ve stroked around and never really found a place where I felt I belong.
I’m open for ideas & suggestions :) If anybody is interested, I’ll write about it as well. Let me know!
MacType causes Cygwin applications to experience random fork() failures on my machine. Took a while to find out this interaction. https://cygwin.com/faq/faq.html#faq.using.bloda was useful.
"Nobody talks about the real reason to use Tabs over Spaces"
This is a pretty compelling reason. Esp. if you are writing open source code.
Current example #2: I opened a browser and entered chaos.social. Since I had no internet connection, the browser displayed »the web page is not available«. When the train rode into a region where connectivity was restored, a *reload* wouldn't load the web page but continued to deliver the error message for a few minutes!
#27plus48 causes so much more reactions than anything else I've posted here. I'll have to mute the tab for a while.
What happens in your head when you do 27+48?
I do 7 + 8 = 15, 20 + 40 = 60, 60 + 15 = 75.
I'm the guy who finds four-leaf clovers all the time.
