how long is a long distance (approximately)
miles/km
@a_breakin_glass Depends on the mode of travel TBH, and how long the time is.
Like, if it's walking over a year, then 100 miles isn't that much (in fact, it's fuck all, that's like 500m a day)
@a_breakin_glass The Auzzies and USAicans aren't awake
@MxCraven exactly what I was thinking :')
@a_breakin_glass 200 miles? That's 3 countries mate
@a_breakin_glass Auzzies: 200 miles is where I get my coffee
@MxCraven but what about the Russians
@a_breakin_glass They don't care. I'm pretty sure they've invented teleportation.
@a_breakin_glass I think this depends on the person. For me, who is disabled and can't drive, 10 miles is long distance. For the person who owns his/her own leer jet, 1500 miles probably sounds like a short jaunt.
Don't model it as physical distance, but more as time-taken-to-travel versus the energy-cost-required-to-maintain-the-route-infrastructure. :D
I'm surprised there aren't more votes for more
