I’ve got a legal question:

If somebody creates a Creative Commons work based on something in the public domain.
Must that base work also be in the public domain in the jurisdiction of the licensee, or must it only be public domain in the jurisdiction of the author of the derivation?

It can be built and run with:

git clone github.com/liberated-cortex/CC
git clone github.com/liberated-cortex/CC
git clone --recursive github.com/liberated-cortex/bl
cd CCOSS_dependencies
./prepare.sh
cd ../CCOSS
make all PREPARED_DIR=../CCOSS_dependencies/prepared/ -j4
cp ./cortex ../blackCortex/
cd ../blackCortex/
make
./cortex

I’m working on a content replacement project for , which sources were put under like 2 months ago. github.com/basxto/blackCortex
There is not much working yet, it’s especially not playable.
But if somebody wants to tinker around with or fork it, feel free to do so.

Currently all artwork, sounds and music are .

I made a collection with submissions, which might be interesting for this project: opengameart.org/content/blackc
