Russian developer and antifascist activist Viktor Filinkov has used his last word in court to explain the persecutor how encryption works.

Using email encryption does not make you a terrorist!

@delta needs to learn how face masks work from the looks of it.

@delta Unfortunately Russian court pretty rarely hears what defense says.

@delta this looks like a elementary school lesson. But perhaps they need it.

It's funny how antifa state trials antifa enthusiast.

Why did it ever popped out: terrorism and email encryption? Don't see how it could be a point in the case.

@searoso "Antifa state"? Russia has not been communist/anti-fascist in a long time and perhaps never really was. These days they are quite fascist with an increasing trend.

@Unicorn 🦄 sounds like you just like the word and swing it around recklessly. Sorry, but it's quite typical.

What makes you think Russia is "quite fascist with an increasing trend"? What's are features of communist state for you? Just a several sharp points without bulky non-sense.

E.g. Russia is an antifa state because it introduce criminal laws on fascist symbols, ideology, and public discussions. It officially emphasize it's role in defeating nazi & fascist regimes. It praise minorities like highest value in symbolic and real senses. So it's literally antifascist and highly left.

Of course it's a simplification, but if you're not one of these mindless barkers you can give a few rough simple points. BR.
