@dirkprimbs this is near infrared I assume?
Looks good to me. Resolution isn't everything and I think you'll get more grainy images without infrared filter anyway...? Have fun!

@uint8_t Yes, it is a modified EOS 20D with a 700nm filter blocking large parts of the visible light.
My only thought is that I may end up capturing pictures hoping I'd had higher res but in general this camera is already a ton of fun to shoot with :-)

@dirkprimbs when you need higher resolution, you can use a telephoto lens and stitch a couple of frames together with hugin/autopano

@uint8_t yes, my thinking right now is that I'll test drive this for a couple of months. If the it bug sticks I'll have a better camera converted eventually.

@dirkprimbs wow...sehr cool! Ich bin echt verlockt...

@jalogisch lassen sich hier nachlesen:

@dirkprimbs I fail to understand what my eyes are seeing. ⁉️

Beautiful – thanks for sharing!

@winniehell you see a picture taken by a camera that was modified so it is now sensitive to infrared instead of the regular visible spectrum. The results are often otherworldly looking and I quite like it :-)
