Er, sorry, not by region - it’s like a pie chart, just shows relative percentages of land use.
We moved to a new house a few days ago, so Ruby the doggo highly disapproves of me leaving for a trip. I hope she’ll forgive me; off I go to Mountain View! Looking forward to diving into the Internet Identity Workshop, seeing the decentralized identity community again. #IIW
Heading over to the Bay Area next week for #IIW (Internet Identity Workshop), super excited. Anybody from the fediverse going as well?
Anti-fascist FOSS dude collective when?
I picture them donating hardware and providing tech support to marginalised folks with patience and care.
They would kick racists and abusers out of the free software community by force if necessary.
They would give some money from their exorbitant tech job salary to people in need whilst also unionising their workplace.
They would take on lots of liberatory organising to take some of the burden off already overburdened folks.
They would set up rad trans inclusive and poc friendly hackspaces in their local area.

Technical Breakdown of a new NES game written in Lisp
"What Remains is a narrative adventure game for the 8-bit NES video game console, and was released in March 2019 as a free ROM, playable in emulator. It was created by a small team, Iodine Dynamics, over the course of two years of on and off development.[...] Herein is a technical breakdown of some of the pieces that make up our game’s engine, in the hopes that others find it useful or at least interesting to read about."
Today's meeting notes for #Florence
Hello, everyone! If you've been following @maloki for updates on the ongoing effort to #ForkTogether, then you may be happy to know that we had our first meeting on Saturday and are still planning out governance and infrastructure before the project "officially" starts.
If you're looking to follow the progress of the fork, or you're looking to get involved, follow here for updates!

I really wish DHTs would be removed from the literature because they seem so good but they have so many unsolved problems that they trick people into designing systems that can't be safely implemented.
1. DoS -> If you're hashing the /64 of IP6 space then I need to get a /48 (trivial), getting a /32 is not so trivial but it's not really hard. Domains are actually probably less bad than /64s
I just learned about https://www.transplantingtraditions.org/
"Transplanting Traditions provides refugee adults and youth access to land, healthy food and agricultural and entrepreneurial opportunities. The farm provides a cultural community space for families to come together, build healthy communities and continue agricultural traditions in the Piedmont of N.C. "
Anyone know of a project needing a voice actor or narrator? I have a fairly deep south-west england voice that's looking for some exposure. Will do it for free if it's a small or non-profit project, charges if it's for an established company or project. Voice samples available on request.
Boosts appreciated, get me out there!
@Gargron congrats to v2.9!
We would like to propose the integration of DIDs (https://w3c-ccg.github.io/did-spec/) into the current mastodon fediverse.
There seems to be a lot of overlap with your work on the move functionality, so we wanted to ask if this concept is fine from your point of view:
Aesthetic as fuck, Soviet "Sphinx" computer mockup. Terrible ergonomics, and of course Soviet computer tech was ridiculously far behind. But *cool*! I want spinning disco ball speakers for my computer.
