Today the European Commission will publish a proposal for a new law which will make the interception, analysis and monitoring of *ALL* digital communications (messengers, forums, direct messages etc.) mandatory.

Read a VICTIM of child sexual abuse condemning the EU Commission's proposal to oblige e-mail, messaging and chat providers to search all private messages for allegedly illegal material and report to the police:

The implications for our fundamental right to privacy aside, do they not understand what sort of attack vector back-dooring all platforms creates? And I'm not just talking about foreign actors, lest we forget the leak about NSA employees using surveillance tools to spy on ex-spouses and lovers?
