TIL: Das NIST hat im April folgende Richtlinien zu inklusiver und diskriminierungsfreier Sprache beschlossen, und die IETF haben sich dem seit gestern angeschlossen: nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/ir/2

Auszug aus NISTIR8366 

“- Avoid terms that use ‘black’ to mean something bad or negative and ‘white’ to mean positive or less harmful
o Examples: blacklist/whitelist; blackmail; white lie
- Avoid terms that perpetuate negative stereotypes or unequal power relationships
o Examples: master/slave; smart/dumb; right/left2
- Avoid terms that assign a gender or sex to inanimate objects
o Examples: male/female connectors; male bolt/female nut”
