"So... which of these 7 conflicted KeePass files is the one you put that password in?"
"Let me see... oh, never mind... This sucks so much!"
"Have you heard of 1Password for teams?"
"No. But I'll try it ou... WOW! THIS IS AMAZING!! WHY DOESN'T EVERYBODY JUST USE THIS???!"
@flowfx and why exactly is a closed source app that keeps all its users password-eggs in one cloud-basket better than KeePass?
@sandbag_attitude Because it works.
@flowfx I admit that with #KeePass you have to come up with your own sync solution, but if you do that it works as well. I used to use LastPass and yes, it was more convenient - but when it comes to the keys to my kingdom I would never sacrifice security for convenience. What makes you trust #1password? I guess there is no target more attractive for an adversary than a service that keeps millions of passwords. What about government mandated backdoors?
@sandbag_attitude Our pain point *is* the sync solution. And 1Password does that very, very well.
I trust the developers about as much as I trust the developers of KeePass, and their servers much more than my own.
In regards to goverments, I believe that if they want to get to me, there's nothing I can do about it. Which makes _that_ decision very easy.
@flowfx Why do you need a shared keystore? Isn't sharing passwords something you'd like to avoid by giving each user individual credentials?
@aslmx We're a team of 10. Not all services offer login via GitHub et al. There's shares private keys where there really is only one key, software licenses, product keys, test accounts, etc pp. A whole lot that needs to be shared.
@flowfx @Cheatha use pass and git.
