@harald The hydrogen being hard to handle, diffusing out of the containment, much energy required to separate it in the first place. There was a nice speech on battery tech at the congress:

@harald My points are not specifically from that talk, the talk is just the last I did see about the topic. Japanese government is taking big bets on hydrogen fuel cells. Even German car makers did experiment with it many years ago, but AFAIK not follow up on it.
