@kandid i spent so so long writing drivers for full access to my nanoKONTROL2 & then never ever used the thing. :(
i think Linux might have eventually added drivers that do all the fancy/hard bits, & now all capabilities are exposed as a normal midi device? maybe.
love seeing some use of it! how many color & mixing ratio controls are in use? 1 of each, or more? sliders or knobs?
To read the silder, potentiometer and S-M-R buttons of the nanoKONTROL2 i use ofxMidi. I think ofxMidi is written in a way that it runs on different operating systems. Even if I use "analog Not analog" only under Linux.
The incoming MIDI values are variables inside aNa.
pot. kp0 - kp8
slider ks0 - ks8
button kb0 - kb8
I control aNa via Lisp like expressions. Thus the operation of the nanoKONTROL2 flows into the animation.
@jauntywunderkind420 To create colors I prefer the hue saturation value approach. So three sliders per color.
For mixing one slider is enough to change the ratio between two (color) inputs.
