The new version of @dino is out and that's great, despite all this I don't recommend him (yet). When I make recommendations, they should be aimed at a wide range of clients. That's why I still recommend #gajim for the desktop, even if it's a bit cumbersome for newbies but it works on all three major #desktop systems.

I will be testing Zulip for my customers over the weekend as it is open source and has promising bridges as well as LDAP account connectivity. This looks like the new star of business applications in the open source area to me. A aternative to Slack and Matrix (Element).
