Since starting embedded development the amount of hardware bugs i found has really increased quite a bit. One really has to appreciate the amount of bugs being abstracted away by software vendors and microcode.

Oh and fun fact: it contains all the parts which would make it possible to let it balance a pack alone but ofc it doesn't do that.

It looks like the LTC6811 battery management analog frontend has a race-condition when setting registers too fast.

That's really not fun when you enable the balancers and your cell just keeps getting charged.
