For the people in the back:

If you can't accept living at the bottom of the hierarchy in the system you seek to create, you do not deserve to create it.

UKPol, Anarchism, Municipalism(?), hopepunk

This whole saga has been a very good example of why the current state structures of governance in this country are totally unfit for purpose.

I know this is stating the obvious for us politicos but this could be a really useful time to start having conversations about exploring other forms of collective governance with people we know that aren't necessarily politically aligned with us yet.

It is also very clear that we are at the mercy of our own state here, the EU and international capital. I hope we can start to have conversations about what sort of society we should be moving towards long term.

In the short term, we need to get organised! Join a union, a collective, an affinity group, an online community. Anything to build better connections between us. Anything you feel able to do. We need to build structures of peer2peer solidarity as the state structures abandon us ever further.

There is always hope even in this sinking isle.

I just figured out how to migrate to Sunbeam City (I think), so find me over there @solarpunkgnome

Google's plan for a censored search engine in China also blacklists terms like “Nobel Prize” and “human rights.” theintercept.com/2018/09/14/go

If this gets 25 boosts, I will share the piece of Torah I wrote to teach tomorrow night, on the evening of Yom Kippur. Topics covered include my early 20s, nuclear warfare, and the miracle of tshuvah

Am trying to write a <1000 word essay that would function as an introduction to Dialectical Naturalism, using the Feynman Technique to attempt to simplify it as much as possible, cutting out all the jargon.

Would anybody be interested in viewing my first draft, and giving me pointers on where I've gone too complicated, or things that need more explanation?

Ok, so I really wasn't expecting to get all emotional about this but I am SOSOSOSOSOSO glad that I have the privilege of having moved into a #housing #coop

It actually feels great to not have capital's boot stamping on your throat.

Fuck landlords 2k18.

3 of us tenants and two union reps at our moving out inspection. They didn't stand a chance ✊ :antifa: :kirby_happy:

I will hopefully now be able to help others by becoming a rep for my union. Check us out!

It'd be kind of nice if Mastodon let you bookmark statuses. It'd be handy for situations where someone posts a link, so that you could read it later and respond back to the original status.
