Hmm. Is there an "important" difference between running @daily in a crontab and using /etc/daily.local?

How do you check in a script for internet connectivity?

Kind of: If you have internet do your thing, else exit here and do nothing.

(My solution was a ping, but then I get `ping: sendmsg: No route to host` in my cronjobs.)

I would like to run a command which deploys the configuration of my VM (httpd/relayd/...) from the local machine to the VM. My problem atm: the permissions. Is rdist(1) what I am looking for?
