I am looking for a good book/article/documentary about the climate crisis to recommend to family and friends. Especially for people that are not yet convinced that we need to act now and that it is not just a problem of carbon emissions but also of climate justice.
I feel like The Uninhabitable Earth might be too tough and alarmist for that purpose.
Really looking forward to your recommendations!

The last panel had me in tears 😂
Today is #ComingOutDay and our mascot want's to support you with this big step.
If you can come out today safely I wish you all luck for this step and that everything works out well for you.
If you are struggling with coming out for whatever reason, maybe you can come out to yourself, this is a big step too. You have time to do the next step and you can look how it feels before going further. That's ok. 🏳️🌈 (1/2)
Darf ich vorstellen? Bonsai-Chili.
"One of humanity’s greatest, present threats is the belief that real sufficient climate action is being taken, that things are being taken care of — when in fact they’re not. Not at all. The time for ”little steps in the right direction” is long gone and yet this is — at best — exactly what our leaders are trying to achieve. They are literally stealing our future right in front of our eyes."
After reinspecting my samples, it became clear that this is not Ganoderma lingzhi but Ganoderma carnosum.

Little and Large II
I have often come across small groups of fly agaric mushrooms, but I've never seen so many little & large pairs before. On Saturday I saw 7 pairs of little & large mushrooms. Never more than two, and always the same disparity in size.
Must be something to do with the soil conditions in this area.
I am currently reading "On Time and Water" by Andri Snær Magnason. I am impressed by the approach he takes on language and what this means for words like #globalwarming that we either do not fully grasp yet, or learned to ignore in our daily life. Looking forward to the rest of the book.
Fond some medicinal mushrooms today.
