Trying to figure out #letsencrypt #certbot with auto-renewal for #prosody. Wish me luck!
@pinkprius have something similar working, but with dehydrated instead of certbot. only had to enable reloead_modules since prosody doesn't load the new certs on reload. otherwise pretty straight forward afair.
@pinkprius As I'm using all my services in #docker containers, #traefik (https://traefik.io/) saved me a lot of work, e.g. auto renewal of #letsencrypt :)

I have several #raspberrypi on my home network and couldn't figure out how to get auto certs from #letsencrypt for different domains.
Well I manually copied the certs from the device that does it automatically and use the same domain, my #xmpp is live!

It's really stupidly easy, I bet you did it. Didn't you?
@frtwnglr I couldn't forward the right ports and stuff so the certbot didn't work but I just used the certificates and ddns of a different machine and forwarded only xmpp ports to the raspi, works now, but will have to copy again in 90 days.

I renew the domain at my httpd and copy it to prosody.
