Tonight I will install #nextcloud on my #raspberrypi, the former #owncloud setup isn't booting anymore...

Now I am doing #raspi-config and stuff like that.
I am still looking for the right #nextcloud #php7 install guide.
@SunDancer I am doing it with their documentation now, it is way more extensive than the guides I found. I actually shouldn't have doubted my abilities.

Oh btw I finished it and it's alive!
#owncloud with #nginx was way quicker and more responsive than #nextcloud with #apache.
Also #nextcloud is having some problems with sync.
@pinkprius nginx has much flexible config as well.
imo average hobbist will never require most of apache plugins.

@Maltimore it totally is but I chose the lazy way to install it via #nextcloudpi which is a preconfigured image.

#nextcloud ran far more stable and fast on my system (bananapi) than #owncloud did before. But indeed I made the change the other way around from #apache to #nginx 😉
