@pinkprius That looks a lot like a mouldy sausage. Not sure if I would order it, it looks so unappetizing :S

Also, can people please stop making vegan lookalikes of meat foods? Most vegan "burgers"/"steaks"/"sausages"/etc taste like 💩

@megfault I don't agree. This looks like it is made from similar ingredients as their veggie balls (picture).
Also I do like many vegan "burgers"/"steaks"/"sausages"/etc, so people please don't stop making vegan lookalikes of familiar meat foods.

@pinkprius Well, as long as they are tasty. I rarely find "meat replacements" that taste good. I would rather have "normal" vegan food than some processed, bland mix of something completely unrecognizable that pretends to be meat.

So far, nothing beats my vegan rice curries and noodle sauces.

If you know of any brands/products that can prove me wrong, please let me know; I'd totally try them. Maybe I have been eating the wrong things.

@megfault try schnitzel or any sausage by the brand , available in Germany.
I hard that is the go-to in the US.

@pinkprius
In general I avoid buying food where I cannot visibly recognize the ingredients, but I will buy something from likemeat next time I go shopping for groceries.

@megfault they have gyros and ground beef aswell, I haven't tried it and I heard it's not as great.
Sometimes I just need to spoil myself with fake meats :3

@pinkprius hmmn, I have eaten some delicious chewwy soy things before, but I never associated them with meet replacement. I suspect people seem them as fake gyros? but the flavor and consistency are completely different. O.o

pinkprius @pinkprius

@megfault Oh I don't know.
I mostly buy fake vegan sausage, because sometimes I need .
Otherwise I sometimes buy or (textured vegetable (soy) protein).
Normally I cook and eat without fake meats.
Oh I do like !
