We thought that Skynet would come about via machines.

We were wrong.

In the late 20th century mankind poured their resources into creating beings that we stronger, faster, and better than human beings. They called them corporations and they outlived their creators.

They acted like humans; asking people to like them and to engage with their brands. But they were not human, and they quietly replaced humans over time.

We thought computers would replace us. We were wrong.
