In a continued effort to use web tech for purposes it is uniquely ill equipped for, I am currently manically hacking away at my newest non-problem: Video Editing!
Automated video editing from recorded websites to be precise. And because I have a hammer, I am using CSS for title cards, effects, cuts and such.
How, you ask?

I am recording video from a browser, then playing that video again in another browser (headless) and recording it again, but this time lockstepping it with animations and additional html/css for overlays, taking a screenshot each frame and using ffmpeg to stream that png screenshot data (no filesystem has been harmed, I promise) into a webm.
I just got it to not mangle Rick Astley and I am a bit suprised myself that it did only take 3 different approaches and resulted in no mayor explosions.
