Learned today that at times only 20 people are listening to the Deutschlandfunk HQ ogg stream. In all of Germany. That threatens its existence.
Please don't abandon free formats. If you strive to do ethical broadcasting, offer your streams in #Vorbis, #Opus or #FLAC format.
Public broadcasting needs free formats.

Apart from that, I would still not recommend using mp3, as it is fairly outdated. Vorbis is already better and Opus is much much better.
