IDEA:
How about a #CryptoParty movement, but for hardware? Decentralized workshops where you can learn how to flash your phone (and install LineageOS/Replicant), free your laptop (install Libreboot/Coreboot + GNU/Linux) and your router?
This could really make a difference and also revitalize some of your older hardware, thus saving resources. And you could of course immediately join the next CryptoParty right afterwards and present your result :)
@resist_berlin yes please!! I have tried many times to install various versions of Linux, flash phones etc., but it all changes so constantly, I find I get stuck. Can it be something where there's a "explain it like I'm five" help scenario? For slow but well meaning people like me?
