So, step one of reattempting to Linux my pc: understand why the hell Next cloud is taking so long to sync compared to Dropbox. Step two, carefully consider which Linux... Thingy.. Is the easiest to use. Wish me luck.

I tested distros for several months and always returned back to #Ubuntu:
#Antergos can be unstable at times and you need to be a nerd to fix it, Linux #Mint's security is doubtful, #Debian's stability is great on a server but using the latest software is not always easy (Firefox ESR is much slower than Quantum).
All the fanboys of these distros will tell you otherwise but in the end Ubuntu gives offers good balance for a desktop, my non-techy friends and parents are happy with it.
