It's a very simple model for food-healthiness but within its simplicity there's research evidence and expressive power.

e. g. sugar is always bad except when it's a fruit.
e. g. fat is always bad except when at the same time it's a rich protein-source.

so basically everything fatty (except cheese) is bad.
No surprise.

Health-Models don't need to surprise. It's better when they're not-surprising.

Glutamate is okay.

The only reason it's believed to be bad are sourced in systemic racism.

@saxnot that moment when you realize our grand parents and ancestors when dietary experts.

@dragnucs they just didn't had that many saturated fats, sugars and red meat products

"e. g. sugar is always bad except when it's a fruit.

that sounds like complete nonsense, tbh. the healthyness of a substance depends on how much of it you eat, not how it's packaged.

@sofia yeah yeah this is a screenshot of a frensh pdf. I have the original guideline somewhere on my phone but cannot find it because every gov apparently calls everything document.pdf and uses metadata for their things
