being EXTREMELY MAD at Oracle
Hey, anyone got a torrent of jdk-8u271-linux-x64.tar.gz ??
turns out you can't download this shit anymore without at oracle account and I'm sure as one not going to create (if it's even possible, maybe it costs an arm and a leg?)

@wolfie I was fighting broken vendor software and wasn't able to get it running with openjdk (+openjfx) so I thought let's try it with oracle's version,
lol, nope
ultimately, I got it working, after I realized it runs only with java===8, nothing newer or older. openjdk ftw.
