it was fun to make this in less than 5 minutes. I also tried using my 50-mm nikkor lens as a projector but the image it created was even smaller although much brighter (even when substantially stepped down) and sharper. it was too complex to take a photo of it
@uint8_t That's totally true. People use Hershel prisms to mirror out 96% of the brightness in combination with very dense grey filters as one method for observing the sun. These filters (e.g. ND3) filter away 999% of the remaining brightness. It's a pity that it is cloudy here.
