I've seen this chart in many variations in a variety of sources. Simply doesn't stop to blow me away. This needs to be the starting point for a general discussion about the future of work. If we get this wrong social cohesion is a thing of the past... buff.ly/2ALccPw

Oh my god. Artists uploaded a deep fake of Mark Zuckerberg to Instagram, saying he's in control of billions of people's stolen data and ready to control the future. Facebook previously said it would not delete similar videos under its policies. We'll see vice.com/en_us/article/ywyxex/

Generating map data that leads to increasing war efficiency is a dark concept and deserves ethical consideration, but at the same time using map techniques that can be dangerous to achieve humane, non-military goals is also critical. Satellite maps' very existance is an example.

RT @cbed32@twitter.com
The ethics of mapping is an unexplored area. Frederik Ramm's article linked in @weeklyOSM@twitter.com claims automated school and hospital detection, will help guide aerial bombing. He says it is a first, but I think detailed Cold War era maps were for exactly this.

By the way, the biggest waste of our time is the waste of talent. Many bankers are way too smart to be working on Wall Street. Many coders are way too smart to be working for Uber or Amazon. They should be solving climate change, poverty, disease etc.

When I look at a map - I see a possibility. Transit maps are the reason why people love public transport, giving them the opportunity to really own the city. ~ @abstractsunday@twitter.com @geoworldmedia@twitter.com

There is something in the air... Cough, cough - particulate matter and more pollution! But yes, the political landscape seems to gain a momentum for positive and humanistic change.

A great example of why a copyright law of - lets say - ten years of exclusive rights is enough. Then allow human culture to do real magic.

It is estimated the internet counts up o 3% of our CO2 emissions worldwide. About the same as flight travels. With the difference that more than 50% of earth's population uses the internet, while around only 5% have the opportunity to fly, says Daniel Scheen from @BristolUni@twitter.com

Depending on your perspective, we're either in a Paradiso of investor-subsidized ridehail trips, or an Inferno of drivers being exploited by their underestimation of depreciation costs. In both cases, the ride will come to an end soon.

The notion that urban mobility is a question of space is almost as old as the car itself. It should guide the new mobility revolution: public transit, walking & rolling will always use space more efficiently than cars - EV, AV or otherwise.
