@nikita No it's not made from #seitan (gluten) but from #soy protein.

@pinkprius Ah I see. I like Seitan better for ecological reasons. It is made from wheat and you can do it by yourself rather easy if you take yourself the time. ;-)

If you're interested in cooking by yourself I would recommend you to try it to make it from flour . But I warn you it is a mess! 😅
But nevertheless it is fun and you can come up with new stuff like putting almonds into it and other awesome s**t 😂

@nikita I never get a good consistency when I make it myself. Also it is harder to mix in flavour!

@pinkprius Or what is this gluten flour? Is this normal flour or prepared somehow?

@nikita it is seitan, without water. So it is just the protein from wheat as a powder.
You mix it with water or broth and it forms a dough just like the one that you get from repeatedly kneading a dough of normal flower under water.
